If you are in the San Jose area and looking for some adventure here are a couple of options – The Orosi Valley AR & the San Jose Urban Race.  Both are fun and exciting 1 Day races (6 - 10 Hours).  We don’t have any set packages for international teams but we are more than willing to help teams with race logistics.  Coast to Coast Adventures is a full service tour operator / travel agent and can arrange a variety of custom itineraries for your stay in Costa Rica.  If you are on your own or don’t have a complete team we can also help get you in contact with local racer.

The Orosi Valley Race (June 07) takes place in the beautiful coffee lined Orosi Valley.  The race starts in front of one of Costa Rica’s oldest active churches.   A few minutes before the start teams are given their first set of instructions.  The route through the valley involves hiking, mountain biking, sea kayaking, a fixed ropes section and several team challenges. To give you an idea on what to expect as for team challenges last teams fished for trout, snorkeled in a local pool and navigated to 10 local businesses in the town of Orosi.
